Give your buyers a coupon and they’ll be buying your items ASAP!
TippyMart gives you the liberty to create your own coupon at the price you want.
Step 1 Go to Coupons; Add New
From your seller dashboard, Click on the Coupon tab at the left portion of the screen. Select Add New with the gift icon at the upper right side of the screen.
Step 2 Create your Coupon Code
Create a code name that is simple and easy to remember. Briefly describe what discount you are providing in the description box.
Step 3 Set Discount Details
Next, set your discount type, amount and expiry date.
Select your desired discount type. You can choose either fixed product discount or percentage discount.
Choose Fixed product discount if you only want to discount certain products or items or reduce total purchases by a set amount. Choose percentage discount if you want to reduce total purchases proportionately.
Input a number for coupon amount. Simply type 10 for 10% discount for percentage discounts.
Select your coupon expiry date. This is the day that the coupon is no longer usable.
Step 4 Display Coupon in your Store
If you would like to offer the coupon publicly, check the show on store box. If you would like it to be private and available for only those who has the code, then do not check this box.
You also have the option to allow free shipping in the future when shipping fee is integrated into the website.
Step 5 Set Restrictions
Scroll down to set the terms and restrictions of your coupon. Enter an amount for the minimum spend and the maximum spend if applicable. Setting a minimum or maximum spend amount will not allow customers to use the coupon without meeting those purchase amount.
You can also set your coupon to individual use only which will not allow users to use other coupons in the same transaction.
Further specify the different restrictions for the Coupon by selecting products to include or exclude. Leaving this blank will automatically allow coupon to be used on all products in your store.
The same goes for categories. You can select all products under that category to be included or excluded in the coupon discount.
If you want only certain people to be able to use the coupon, enter their email address under email restrictions. This will automatically allow the emails specified to apply the coupon given that they used the same email in their billing details.
Step 6 Set Usage Limit
Go to the Limit tab in the left portion of your dashboard and set the usage limit of your coupon. This is the number of coupons you are creating or the number of coupons that can be used.
You can set the maximum amount of products that this coupon can be applied to. If you input 5, this means that you are only allowing up to 5 items to be discounted when using fixed product discounts.
Lastly, you can also set usage limit per user. For single use coupons input 1. If you want your customers to be able to use the coupon as many times as they want, you can set it at a higher number like 100.
Step 7 Click Submit
When you’re done reviewing all your coupon details, simply click submit in the lower right portion of your screen.
And you’re done! You can now view your coupon in your product page beside your store information!
