Knowledgebase: How to Add, Delete, Manage Photos in Media Library

Photos are a big factor in convincing your customers to buy your food.

TippyMart provides you with a database for your media where all your images will be uploaded and stored.

There are different ways to be able to easily add or remove photos. Here’s how: 

Managing your Images Through the Media Tab

Step 1 Go To Media

From the Seller Dashboard, click on the Media tab on the left side of the screen.

Under the Media tab, you can choose to either view, delete or bulk delete the images and files.

Step 2 Click View

You can view your photos by clicking the eye icon on the right.

Step 3 Click Delete

You can delete media individually by clicking the trash can icon on the right.

This will ask for confirmation if you want to delete the items. Just click OK and you’re done.

If the picture is currently being used by a product (indicated under the Associate column), the photo will disappear from the product list if you delete it.

Step 4 Click Bulk Delete

Media items can be deleted in bulk for your convenience. Just be sure to select which items you want to delete.

This will also ask for confirmation if you really want to delete the items.

Click OK and you’re done!

Managing your Media Library Through the Products Tab

Step 1 Go to Products

From the Seller Dashboard, go to the Products tab on the left side of the screen.

Step 2 Search for the Product

In the product listing, look for the product with the picture you wish to change.

Step 3 Click on the Product Picture

The current product price is displayed to the right of the Edit Product page.

Click it to open the prompt for changing the picture. 

Step 4 Choose from Media Library or Upload File

The prompt will display pictures that you currently have on your account.

If the picture you want is not there, you can choose to upload a file by clicking the Upload File tab.

Step 5 Upload Pictures

You can drag and drop pictures into the field to upload pictures or you can click Select Files to choose files from your device.

Step 6 Pick an Appropriate Photo from Your Device

You can upload a photo with a maximum size of 500kb. 

Step 7 Set the Photo as Product Picture

Once you upload the photo, it will now be in your media library. Click Select to set the photo as your new product picture.

Step 8 Click Submit

Click Submit on the bottom right corner of the page to save your changes.

And you’re done! You now know how to manage your media files!
